The essential ones
Everything marked Essential is first-party, stays in your browser's local storage, is never sent to us or to anyone else, and carries no identifier that could be used to track you across sites. They exist so the site behaves the way you left it. These are set without a prompt because removing them would simply make the site worse at no privacy gain.
The analytics ones
Google Analytics is off until you turn it on. If you choose “Essential only”, or ignore the notice entirely, the Google Analytics script is never loaded and no analytics cookie is created. If you accept, Google acts as our processor and may set the cookies listed above. You can read Google's own description of these cookies.
